Automatic Merit Scholarship: Aston University

Award information

Aston University is offering a number of Merit Scholarships as part of the Aston University 50th Anniversary Taught Postgraduate Scholarship Scheme.

Aston Merit Scholarships are automatically awarded to eligible applicants from India, Nigeria, Vietnam, Thailand, Latin America, Japan, Turkey, Indonesia and the USA with a 2.1 at undergraduate level (or the local equivalent).

Chinese students graduating from UK universities are also eligible.

Funding details

Eligible fee-paying applicants for postgraduate taught courses at Aston University with an appropriate grade will be awarded a scholarship of £2,000 in the form of a tuition fee waiver.

Funding eligibility

Academic: Eligible students will have at least a 2.1 classification at undergraduate level.

Residency: India, China (Chinese students who have taken a UK undergraduate degree), Nigeria, Vietnam, Thailand, Latin America, Japan, Turkey, Indonesia and the USA

Restrictions: Students currently in receipt of sponsorship or other funding are not eligible.
