MBA Regional Scholarships: Aston Business School

Award information

Aston Business School is offering a number of scholarships to award the highest calibre of students from around the world joining the MBA programme at Aston Business School in 2017/18.

MBA Regional Scholarships are open to students from

  • India
  • Nigeria
  • Thailand
  • China

who will be able to act as an ambassador of the school after the course has finished.

Funding details

The scholarship is worth up to £6,000.

Funding eligibility

Academic: Applicants must have applied for a full time taught MBA place from Aston Business School. Candidates will be judged on academic merit (based on previous qualifications) and their ambition and potential to make a significant contribution to society and business after graduation.

Residency: India, Nigeria, China and Thailand

Restrictions: Students currently in receipt of sponsorship or other funding are not eligible.

Other: Candidates will need to demonstrate how they could be an ambassador of the MBA programme after graduating.

Applicants only need make one MBA scholarship application – the panel will decide which they should be considered for. Please see for more details.

How to apply

Once candidates have applied for the course, they should apply for a scholarship by submitting a cover letter to including their full name and application number (this number will be included in their MBA application email acknowledgement). The cover letter should:

  • Be a maximum of 700 words
  • State why they have selected their programme of study, how they are going to apply the knowledge they learn in their career and
  • Demonstrate a potential to contribute to the learning experience of the programme and become a successful ambassador for the school while studying.

Applicants must be available for an interview (which may be via skype).
