Management

The main objective of this Masters is to equip you with a fundamental understanding of strategies for managing and leading individuals, teams, departments and companies. You will study subjects including decision-making, implementation delivery, management of people and organisations, contemporary leadership and much more. You will gain a masterful understanding of management which will thoroughly prepare you for the challenges of management in the modern workplace, and you will achieve all of this with a critical awareness of today's most pervasive issues including globalisation, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, diversity and knowledge management. Your MSc programme will culminate in writing this course's equivalent to the final dissertation - the integrative managerial report. This report will bring together the knowledge gained during the programme and allow you to apply your learning to a specific issue or problem within a real-life corporate body. You will also be required to focus on your own personal skills development and the importance of productive leadership in today's corporate environment. By the time you graduate from this MSc Management, you will have gained an invaluable insight into the best practices and productive techniques used by the most effective managers. Your training will balance the theory with the practice: you will develop a critical understanding of the underlying rationale behind management techniques, and you will have the opportunity to apply the methodology as you interrogate real-life case studies and engage with your final managerial report.
