International Finance

This course equips students with the skills and specialist knowledge required to test the theories, practices and conventional wisdom pertaining to the function of financial institutions, instruments, and markets in the economic process. Students are encouraged to critically evaluate the contemporary role of the financial system within domestic economies and the globalised financial environment. By mastering these subjects, students have a truly expert understanding of the force that shapes our world today. Students study topics including international finance, development, regulation, financial systems and the economic process through particular models and equations found in the core and optional study modules.
