Teaching English as a Second or Other Language (TESOL) and Materials Development

Our course helps students to become a leader in language teaching, curriculum design and materials writing. They gain a solid foundation in many aspects of applied linguistics, and teaching skills that meets the needs of language learners from different ethnic, educational and socio-economic backgrounds. Through lectures and seminars, students are introduced to the key concepts and theories of language teaching, materials development and 2nd language acquisition. Students use this knowledge to create original materials for different purposes, teaching contexts and modes of delivery, like literary, audio and visual media.
