We can supervise projects in most areas of acute care, allied heath, public health, and family and child health. The group has particular expertise in the following: Carer and service user perspectives; research with older people; nursing; social work practice; educational practice; workplace stress; research with children and young people.

Entry requirements

Applicants are normally expected to hold a Master's degree and be working in or able to access a professional practice setting in which to carry out their research. Exceptions are considered on an individual basis, where applicants can demonstrate evidence of postgraduate study or publications suitable to prepare them for doctoral level study. Applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
