Magnetic Resonance Imaging

This course aims to develop students as critically aware and reflective MRI practitioners. The pace of change in the field of MRI is unprecedented and the course is designed to ensure students can respond to change effectively and positively.

Entry requirements

Students who have not previously been taught and assessed in English require an IELTS score of 7.0 before the course starts; applicants require either a UK Honours degree in radiography; or a professional qualification in radiography, medical imaging or related discipline equivalent in breadth and depth to a UK Honours degree.

Course modules

Core modules: Applied scientific principles of magnetic resonance imaging; essentials of magnetic resonance imaging clinical practice; research studies; advanced magnetic resonance imaging practice; major project.

Assessment methods

Assessment will include worksheets, reflective essays and portfolio work.
