Students spend the 1st 1-2 years on a research methods course before moving onto an individual research project.

Entry requirements

An MBA, MSc or an MA degree in business or management (or an equivalent professional qualification); a minimum of 5 years experience in a senior role. For those whose 1st language is not English: IELTS: an overall minimum score of 6.5, or TOFEL: a minimum score of 101.

Course modules

Year 1: research methods modules: basic skills within the management research process; the philosophy of management research; qualitative and quantitative research design and analysis; communication and advanced research skills.
Years 2-4 (up to 6 years maximum): individual research project and submission of thesis/portfolio.
