Successful completion qualifies the applicant for full chartered engineer (CEng) status.
A 1st or good 2nd Class Honours degree at Bachelor�s level (qualifications from outside the UK or a combination of qualifications and experience are also considered); employment in the engineering field in which they hope to advance (their employer needs to be supportive of them, and willing to ensure they can undertake a good range of workplace projects to build the learning needed for the MSc and additionally the competences to qualify for CEng); membership in, or willingness to join, an engineering institution covering their chosen engineering field; international students whose native language is not English also need to demonstrate English language ability: a TOEFL score of at least 100 (internet-based) with a minimum score of 23 in speaking, 22 in reading and 21 in writing and listening; an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in each band; Pearson Academic score of 61 overall with a minimum score of 59 in each area.

Optional modules (choose 3 or 4 from): scientific foundations; engineering analysis; sustainability; project management; further topics in engineering management; product delivery; professional literature study; extended integrative option.
