Business Analytics

Our MSc Business Analytics will enable you to embark on a rewarding career in what's fast becoming one of the most important and influential functions within business. This course will give you the skills to extract meaningful information from data and guide commercial decision making. These skills are in huge demand and can enhance your career prospects and earning potential. We cover a wide range of stimulating topics, from data mining and web analytics to business analytics in practise. You'll learn how to accurately analyse and visualise information. With insights from data often providing the basis for firms' competitive advantage in the market place, it's not surprising that business analytics graduates are becoming increasingly sought-after. You'll develop a clear understanding of the three types of data analytics - descriptive, predictive, prescriptive. We focus on the practical application of these in a business context. You'll discover what method, technique and tools can be used to solve specific commercial problems in the most effective way. As most roles within the business analytics sector are based in consultancies, we ensure you have the necessary skills for a consultancy environment.
