Translation Studies

Research topics include a wide range of subjects on translation theory; history and practice covering most European languages (German; French; Spanish; Italian); certain topics are particularly relevant; these include: translation and minority languages (Welsh; Galician; and Catalan contexts); translation and gender; sociological approaches to translation practice and contexts; translation and ideology; or translation and the creative industries (journalism; film; media; and creative writing).

Entry requirements

Good Honours degree with the ability to pursue research in a chosen field.
