Llenyddiaeth Gymraeg (Welsh Literature)

Study has been completed in fields covering a range of Welsh-language literature, from the early Middle Ages to the work of living authors, on fields as diverse as popular culture, feminist studies and the editing of eighteenth-century Interludes. Welsh-language research is not limited to the geography of Great Britain, and Bangor has produced research into the literature of the Welsh-speaking Americas.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree; a Master's degree (if undertaken); if English is not native language an English language test certificate.

Assessment methods

Students submit a a 60,000 to 100,000 word thesis at the end of the 3rd year.
