Implementing Evidence in Health and Social Care

The programmes provides a dedicated route for high calibre students who may already have a specific research aim in mind and are ready to carry out independent research leading to PhD level study; alternatively it is appropriate for students who are seeking a stand-alone research based qualification suitable for a career in research with transferable skills for graduate employment.

Entry requirements

A 2.1 Honours degree or above, or equivalent; international students must also have IELTS of 7.0 or above.

Course modules

Core modules: quantitative research methods; qualitative research methods; research project; plus options which may include: systematic review of synthesis of evidence; implementing evidence within public services: theory and practice.
