Environmental and Business Management
A 2.2 Honours degree in a relevant subject, e.g. environmental science or business studies from a university, or a similar qualification from any other institution. Alternatively, possession of a suitable professional qualification and relevant practical experience may also be accepted. In general, however, applicants are judged on their individual merits, work experience and other factors are also considered. Where English is not the native language/language of instruction: IELTS: 6.0 (with no element below 5.5) is required.
Part 1 modules: organisations and people; strategic management finance for managers; new venture creation; green economies; strategic environmental management; green technology; part 2: the topic selected for the dissertation will be agreed with the nominated project supervisor and could relate to virtually any aspect of environment and business management according to the desired specialism.
The course is assessed by a combination of examinations, continuous assessment, seminar presentations, research project and dissertation.
