Clinical Psychology
Course provides training in 3 domains: academic, research and clinical.
Course modules
Year 1: adult mental health; older adult psychology; health psychology; neuropsychology; year 2 teaching includes: child and adolescent mental health; learning disabilities; year 3 consists of academic sessions on a range of topics at a more specialist and advanced level. Trainees' interests are incorporated in the syllabus.
Sponsorship information
The Welsh Assembly Government funds the programme and pays trainees' fees but, due to funding regulations and restrictions, self-funded trainees or trainees who would normally be charged overseas fees cannot be accepted onto the programme; trainees who are accepted onto the programme become salaried employees of the Conwy and Denbighshire NHS Trust.
