The course provides students with a thorough grounding in modern empirical methodology in psychological research as well as in depth content modules based around cutting edge research topics.
A general programme; or students choose options that focus their programme around the major academic strengths of the School which are currently: clinical and health psychology; clinical neuroscience; and cognitive neuroscience.
Assessment methods include written examinations, essays, oral presentations and a research thesis.
The School of Psychology is committed to providing every assistance to help an accepted postgraduate candidate secure funding; the School offers a limited number of studentships in return for performing teaching assistant duties; and can advise students on alternative funding sources.
