This course emphasises both professional and vocational development as well as an awareness of key legal and regulatory issues that play a central role in the successful management of modern enterprises of all types and sizes.
Course modules
Part 1 is a wholly taught component, contributing 120 credits; compulsory modules: organisations and people management; comparative corporate governance; finance for managers; optional modules include: marketing strategy; new venture creation; credit and security law; competition law; world trade law; employment law; part 2 consists of either a supervised dissertation of around 10,000 words, or a structured advanced taught programme of summer study that is specific to the student's chosen degree.
