This course is designed to develop your German language skills and/or increase your knowledge of German culture, as well as improving your research and study skills.
Course modules
You take a high-level German language module, German 5, and 2 option modules (or the equivalent of 4 half-modules) from a selection, one of which can be an extended essay on a topic chosen by you.

Assessment methods
Language modules are assessed by oral and written examination and, in some cases, by coursework. All other modules are assessed by a mixture of coursework and examination.
