Social and Cultural Geography
2.2 or above in a social science or humanities degree. If English is not your first language or you have not previously studied in English, the requirement for this programme is the equivalent of an International English Language Testing System (IELTS Academic Test) score of 7.0, with not less than 6.0 in each of the sub-tests.
You take 2 compulsory modules and 2 option modules from a wide range across the department and, with the agreement of the programme director(s), across the School.
Part-time students take 2 compulsory modules in Year 1 and take 2 option modules and write their dissertation in Year 2.
You also write a 15,000-word dissertation on a subject of your choice, which will be supported with supervision and research methods training.
