Fashion Retail Management
This course provides students with an overview of the fashion retail industries and will help them develop the knowledge and skills necessary for one or more roles within fashion retail. The programme covers subjects including: Visual merchandising; merchandising; modern retail practices; fast fashion; luxury fashion; discount fashion; niche and lifestyle retail, in-store promotions and events; online retailing, market segmentation; global and regional issues; store design, buying.
Honours degree from a UK University; a 1st degree from an overseas university (GPA 3.0 out of 4.0 or average 75 per cent or any other equivalence to the above UK qualification); successful passing a Pre-Master's course approved by Birmingham City University; successful passing a Pre-Master's course at another UK university/institution with a minimum of 55 per cent average. IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in all components) or equivalent is required.
