Design and Visualisation
The course is aimed at graduates and professionals with a background in any area of 2 or 3 dimensional design. Students develop digital visualisation skills at all stages of the design process. From designing complex animations, brand identity, 3D products, studying how light interacts with an interior space, to evaluating designs for concept approval, 'Design and Visualisation' plays a key role at nearly every stage of the development process, including concepts to final presentation.
Applicants require a good degree in a relevant subject or equivalent qualifications and experience. For international students, an IELTS score of 6.0 or more with no less than 5.5 in the IELTS sub-categories is required. Other English language qualifications are acceptable.
Modules include: Design visualisation; realism; design systems; conceptualism; design futures; personal project (research and concepts), personal project (practice and theory).
Combining a structured programme with independent learning and reflection, assessments will take place during individual/ group presentations at interim stages and at the end of each module; a personal project showcases students' skills.
