Broadcast Journalism

This course focuses on 'hands-on' journalism, with very strong links to major UK broadcasters. Accredited by the Broadcast Journalism Training Council, it will teach students everything they need to know to start working in a broadcast news environment. Students will find stories and record, edit, and report on them, primarily for radio but also for television and the web. Practical work is accompanied by a study of public institutions as well as media law and regulation.

Entry requirements

Applicants should have studied to degree level or equivalent, or have considerable experience in a related field; candidates must also be able to demonstrate outstanding ability and potential, as well as excellent spoken and written English.
