Programme designed to meet the needs of senior managers and professional staff working in a variety of organisations; offers a systematic research programme that gives particular priority to developing management expertise and knowledge.

Entry requirements

Applicants must have completed an MA, MSc or MBA degree in a particular area of business-related professional practice; have at least 5 years related professional practice experience, as well as being employed in the professional capacity that they propose to study. Students must have the formal agreement and active co-operation of the organisation where the DBA studies are to take place.

Course modules

Stage 1: research methods; research skills; professional practice. Stage 2: research perspectives; advanced professional practice. Stage 3: research thesis.
