Audit Management and Consultancy
This programme develops the full range of academic and professional knowledge, values, skills and expertise necessary to enable the student to operate with excellence as directors, managers, internal and external auditors and management consultants and to manage audit teams, audit departments and other business functions and organisations.
Recognised Bachelor's degree at a good standard normally required for Master's degree registration; applicants with suitable work experience and/or other appropriate qualifications may be considered for entry, under CATS/APEL/APL schemes; international students need IELTS 6.5 average/6.0 all bands or TOEFL 575.
Corporate governance and risk management; internal and external audit; accounting and financial systems; organisation and management: concepts and practices; business information systems audit; PgDip stage: risk and assurance; strategic management; advanced internal audit case study; financial management; personal and professional development; Master�s stage: consultancy and applied research; dissertation.
A variety of methods are employed, designed to maximise learning and professional expertise; the final stage of the Master's is based on assignments and dissertation and does not involve an examination.
