The course: provides UK and overseas students with a global perspective on management and business; allows graduates from diverse disciplines to gain access to the study of business with a specialist area; provides an opportunity for students to combine the theory and practice of management with the completion of a substantial, in-depth dissertation in their chosen pathway.

Entry requirements

Honours degree or equivalent qualification; other applicants may also be considered; applicants whose 1st language is not English require TOEFL 575, IELTS 6.5 average (or 6.0 in all bands), or equivalent.

Course modules

Postgraduate certificate stage: Marketing management; managerial finance; people in organisations. Postgraduate diploma stage: Entrepreneurship and innovation; international marketing strategy; enhancing business and management skills. Master�s stage: Managing for the future; marketing in practice; individual dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessment is of a practical nature and is undertaken both individually and as a member of a team; the programme uses different types of assessment, which range from assignments, reports, presentations and examinations; the most common form of assessment is reports, which involve some form of problem solving analysis.
