Human Resource Management
Course provides the specialist knowledge and skills required by human resources practitioners in today's organisations, whether public or private, large or small; overall programme leads to graduate membership of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
Degree or equivalent normally required; postgraduate qualifications may be considered; candidates with relevant work experience in management or human resources or with the CIPD Certificate in Personnel Practice or Training Practice considered via APEL; all eligible candidates are interviewed.
International human resource management; organisation dynamics and change; dissertation.
In the first 2 years of the course, assessment takes place by examinations and both individual and group assignments; at the Master�s stage students must complete a management report of about 7,000 words on an individually chosen topic as well as a group project.
