On this course, students will be equipped with the leadership, development and management skills required to face current and future educational priorities. Students will have the opportunity to study alongside educational practitioners and researchers, gaining them valuable insight and the skills that will help them stand out in the education sector.

Entry requirements

Applicants are required to meet 1 of the following options: an Honours degree from a UK University; 1st degree from an overseas university (GPA 3.0 out of 4.0 or average 75 per cent or any other equivalence to the above UK qualification); successfully passing a pre-Master's course approved by Birmingham City University; successfully passing a pre-Master's course at another UK university/institution with a minimum of 55 per cent average; other qualifications are considered on a case by case basis. IELTS 6.0 (5.5 in all components) or equivalent is required.

Course modules

Postgraduate Certificate stage: strategic marketing; managing people; international perspectives on leading and managing educational innovation. Postgraduate Diploma stage: managing finance; global business strategy; international perspectives on educational analysis and improvement planning. Master's stage: dissertation.
