This course helps students build on their professional qualification by extending their understanding of the major finance theories which support strategic decision-making in both corporate and fund management businesses.

Entry requirements

Any of the 6 CCAB accounting professional qualifications, which could be any of ACCA, CIPFA, ACIEW, ACAS, ACAI and CIMA final stage examination completion, or equivalent overseas qualifications which have been fully recognised by any of the CCAB members or the University.

Course modules

Modern theory of finance; financial econometrics and research skills in accounting and finance; dissertation.
