International Business Law
The course meets the current demand for specialist knowledge and skills in the rapidly expanding fields of international corporate and business law; the course provides students with the opportunity to explore, in-depth, the legal regulation of the world of international business; academically rigorous, the LLM exposes students to a practical real-world application of the law.
Applicants require: a UK Bachelor's degree in law (e.g. LLB): or, UK Bachelor's degree which includes law as a substantial component (e.g. BA Law and Management); or an equivalent overseas qualification.
Advanced legal research methods; business and human rights; international corporate law; international trade and dispute resolution; corporate regulation, dissertation; students wishing to pursue a general LLM can also select modules from the LLM international human rights programme.
Assessment is through a combination of coursework and oral presentations. There are no examinations.
