Students gain knowledge and skills in a range of subjects including, business intelligence, large amounts of data, data base technology and data analytics techniques. Business intelligence draws together a range of techniques and theories for extracting valuable insights from raw data.
At least a 2nd Class Honours degree or equivalent in an appropriate discipline or evidence of the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully complete the course.

A range of assessment methods are employed, assessment criteria being published in each assignment brief. Knowledge and skills are assessed, formatively and summative, by a number of methods, coursework, examinations (seen and unseen, open and closed-book), presentations, practical assignments, vivas and project work.
