Heritage Education

This course looks at heritage education from a range of contemporary perspectives; students will critically debate heritage education policy and practice to get beneath the skin of the ever-changing face of the current heritage scene.

Entry requirements

Applicants will need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, normally an undergraduate honours degree in a Humanities or Social Sciences subject (or equivalent).

Course modules

Modules include: contemporary issues in heritage education; heritage learning; the visitor experience; research skills; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessment includes a range of methods including portfolios, written reports,essay assignments and a dissertation.
