International Investment and Finance

This conversion course is ideal for graduates who would like to change subjects or career direction. It combines elements of our Finance course with a focus on international banking and investment. It will provide you with the necessary theoretical background for understanding the world of finance and investment, along with the practical skills for reading and analysing financial data and making informed decisions about the risk involved in international investments. This course will also provide you with the transferable skills needed for a future career in accounting and finance: team working, objective analysis and communication.

Entry requirements

MSc: A Bachelors Honours degree with 2:2 in any subject or equivalent. If English is not your first language you'll need IELTS (Academic) 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component of writing, speaking, listening and reading.

Course modules

Modules include: International Accounting and Analysis; International Corporate Finance; Economics of Money and Financial Markets; International Investment Management; Portfolio Construction and Theory; Emerging Market Economies; Research Project with Optional Work Placement.
