International Economics and Finance
The course has been developed with 2 key features in mind; the development of a strong capacity in economics in finance and the ability to apply these skills in practice. Furthermore, the modern world increasingly requires an ability to understand these issues in a global context. Therefore, this course also will address key developments in global markets.
A good Bachelor's Honours degree (2.2 or above), or equivalent, in any subject.
Stage 1: economics of money and financial markets; international corporate finance; international accounting and analysis. Stage 2: global economic challenges; emerging market economies; public finance and tax policy. Stage 3: research project.
