International Political Communication
This programme is aimed at graduates who wish to pursue a career path in political communication or political journalism. The programme is designed specifically to provide an advanced understanding of the issues and debates around the subject of political communication in the 21st Century. The units are all conceptually led, combining discussions of theory with an exploration of current and best practice within the context of democratic societies. All units will also offer an international perspective and providing insights into the latest developments in political communication research and practice and the impact of recent technological innovations.
An Upper 2nd Class Honours degree, or above, or equivalent.
Modules: Social theory and political communication; political psychology and sociology; political journalism; political marketing and campaigning; diplomacy and international relations; research imagination; dissertation.
