This course aims to develop students' creative skills, techniques and collaborative approaches to become a successful post-production editor ready for employment in today�s evolving media industry. Developments in computer-led editing practices, and the resulting convergence of the editing, sound and music processes mean that well educated video editors will be able to find vocational success as a result of their experience on this programme.
Bachelor's degree, 2.1 Honours or above, or equivalent. All subjects are considered, although it is expected that all applicants would have engaged with editing at a practical level. Applications are also welcome from experienced professionals working within the media industry.
Modules: Approaches to editing; narrative constructions; advanced editing techniques; cross-platform practice; the Master's production project or the Master's research project.
