Computer Games Technology
This course aims to provide students with the ability to plan, implement and produce computer games using modern methods and tools. The course provides the industry with expert personnel who understand the technical tools and techniques required by the gaming development sector.
Students having completed an Honours degree with a minimum of a 2.2 in computer science, electronics or a related technical discipline. Practitioners and professionals already employed in the industry looking for additonal theortical and practical knowledge.
Modules include: Game physics and AI; mathematics for games; game development; intellectual property in the digital economy; research methods; individual masters project; advanced games programming.
