This route is ideal for professionally qualified accountants who wish to study for a Master's while continuing in their professional role, as it involves minimal attendance at the business school during the working week. This programme is designed to enhance the depth, value and contemporary relevance of professional accounting qualifications and helps develop knowledge and critical understanding of financial issues and enhance existing research and analytical skills, balancing academic rigor with practical relevance.

Entry requirements

This programme is only available to professionally qualified accountants such as members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), or Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).

Course modules

Modules include: financial context and contemporary issues; research methods; dissertation.

Assessment methods

Assessments is a mix of assignments, supervised mini-projects and presentations.
