Executive Coaching and Mentoring (level 7)
The modular route is designed for participants, normally at practising senior leaders/managers level, who have experience in coaching and/or mentoring, but no formal qualifications in this subject area; this route requires the participant to complete 3 of our short courses; coaching and mentoring (with UWE module accreditation); leading and managing people (with UWE module accreditation); preparing an action plan to complete the ILM level 7 Certificate.
While there are no formal entry requirements, participants normally are practising senior leaders or managers and/or have experience in coaching and/or mentoring and have completed a previous coaching/mentoring qualification or have a working knowledge of coaching and leadership theories and literature. Participants must also be able to complete (a total of) 20 hours of coaching and/or mentoring with 2 or more coachees/mentees during the course for the assessments.
Modules include: Understanding the context of coaching and mentoring in a strategic business environment; undertaking coaching or mentoring at a senior and strategic level; undertaking an extended period of supervised coaching or mentoring at a senior or strategic level.
