Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring (level 7 fast-track)

The fast track route is designed for participants, normally at practising senior leaders/managers level, who have experience in coaching and/or mentoring and have completed a previous coaching and/or mentoring qualification; have experience and knowledge of leadership models and theory; participants are required to attend our short course in developing a portfolio of evidence for the ILM level 7 certificate; this course is aimed to direct participants in how to produce a portfolio of evidence to achieve the certificate, rather than undertaking a full taught coaching and mentoring and leadership programme.

Entry requirements

While there are no formal entry requirements, participants normally are practising senior leaders or managers and/or have experience in coaching and/or mentoring and have completed a previous coaching/mentoring qualification or have a working knowledge of coaching and leadership theories and literature. Participants must also be able to complete (a total of) 20 hours of coaching and/or mentoring with 2 or more coachees/mentees during the course for the assessments.

Course modules

Modules include: Understanding the context of coaching and mentoring in a strategic business environment; undertaking coaching or mentoring at a senior and strategic level; undertaking an extended period of supervised coaching or mentoring at a senior or strategic level.
