Leadership and Media Production Management

The course is suitable for applicants currently working in production management within creative media organisations or are seeking to pursue a career in this area.

Entry requirements

Applicants require a relevant (arts, media or business) Honours degree at 2.1 or equivalent. Applicants without these qualifications demonstrating relevant experience can be considered individually. If English is not your first language, you will be required to meet the UK Border Agency and Universities minimum English language requirements, such as: IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.

Course modules

Core modules: leading and managing; groups, teams and organisations; project management; managing finance; preparing for factual production; international intellectual property law; plus optional modules; principles of change practice; coaching and mentoring; final project.

Assessment methods

These include reports, written projects, oral presentations, portfolios and learning logs.
