Automation and Computer Vision
This course provides a combination of increasingly overlapping and synergetic disciplines with a strong emphasis on hardware for solving 'real-world' problems. The course benefits from direct ties with industry for the delivery of module content and in the provision of industry relevant project work. We can also offer this course using the work-based learning (WBL) scheme. This involves employees of relevant industries attending a portion of the course to supplement their existing skills.
A 1st degree of 2.2 or above in a numerate subject, or substantial relevant professional experience or qualifications.
Modules include: Automation and control; machine vision; managing finance; project management; industrial applications; industrial case studies; individual project.
