Sustainable Development in Practice

This course focuses on 1 of the most challenging issues that companies and organisations face in sustainable development, effecting change in individual behaviours, business practice and wider society. Students work on live briefs and real world projects and have invaluable access to organisations and case studies offered through the network of organisations associated with UWE's Institute for Sustainability, Health and Environment (ISHE).

Entry requirements

1st degree of 2.2 or above, or substantial relevant experience.

Course modules

Core modules: sustainable development: principles and practice; creating sustainable behaviour change; the sustainable organisation: vision into practice; cultural change: history and practice; work based learning.

Assessment methods

This course is assessed via a combination of coursework and presentations.
