Professional Development (Environmental Health)
This programme has been developed for graduates of CIEH accredited undergraduate and postgraduate environmental health programmes who wish to complete the professional requirements (professional practice portfolio (PPP) and professional interview) for registration as an environmental health practitioner (EHP); the programme provides students the opportunity to participate and be assessed in a series of intervention areas within the intervention fields which are required for the professional practice portfolio (PPP) and professional interview assessment.
A CIEH accredited BSc Hons, PgDip or MSc in environmental health.
All years: Food safety; health and safety; housing and health; environmental protection; public health; integrating environmental health practice; research project skills; dissertation.
Assessment methods include dissertation.
