This programme is deeply rooted in the Aviation industry and informed by extensive aviation research. It is designed for professionals working for airlines, airports authorities and supply and support services within the aviation sector such as engineers, logistics, catering, cargo, energy, safety, security, IT and travel and tourism and can help them to have a more informed output into senior management decision making or consultancy within the industry. Students have the opportunity go on international trips to further deepen their knowledge of the industry. The programme also incorporates an innovative series of leadership masterclasses. Sessions teaches how to manage change and negotiate conflict as well as give provide deeper insight into cross cultural issues and corporate responsibility.
A minimum of 3 years full time work experience at managerial or professional level following graduation; A good UK Honours degree equivalent; applicants whose native language is not English require anIELTS score of 6.5 (minimum of 6 in all areas) or equivalent.
Corporate and business finance; strategic marketing management; leading people and managing organisations; corporate and competitive strategy; operations management; international business; elective modules: airline management, economics and ethics; airport management and planning.
Modules are typically assessed by individual assessment, or an examination. Students should also complete an in-depth business project
