This programme is based on the key business concepts that can help managers and CEOs alike develop the expertise required to lead and manage in the international business context; the leadership masterclass series and the career development programme combined with over 500 hours of student-tutor direct (teaching) contact hours maintain the balance between theory and practice.

Entry requirements

Applicants should normally: have a 2.1 (or above) UK Honours degree or international equivalent; have a minimum of 3 years' full time work experience at managerial or professional level in managing people, budget or other resources following a degree; applicants with a 2.2 and 5 or more years of required managerial or professional level work experience in managing people, budget or other resources require GMAT score of 550 or Brunel MBA Admissions Test essay followed by a telephonic interview; applicants with more than 10 years of required managerial or professional level work experience in managing people, budget or other resources require Brunel MBA Admissions Test essay followed by a telephonic interview; applicants with a 2.2 and less than 5 years of required managerial or professional level work experience in managing people, budget or other resources require LIBT pre-Master's qualification; applicants whose 1st language is not English require: IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum of 6 in all areas); TOEFL paper-based test 580 (with a minimum of 4.5 in the test of written English); TOEFL internet-based test 92 (with a minimum of 20 in reading, listening, speaking and writing); Pearson 58 (with a minimum of 51 in all areas); or BruneELT 65 per cent (with a minimum of 60 per cent in all areas).

Course modules

Modules include: operations management; corporate and business finance; strategic marketing management; corporate and competitive strategy; leading people and managing organisations; international business; business economics; business project and professional portfolio. Optional modules include: managing for the future; information systems in organisations; healthcare policy; managing service operations and change in healthcare; airline management, economics and ethics; airport operations management.

Assessment methods

Assessment methods include: coursework, examinations and the dissertation.
