This programme provides both academic and practical training to assist students in pursuing a career in these exciting professions.

Entry requirements

An Honours degree (2.1 or above) or an equivalent overseas qualification. All shortlisted candidates are interviewed. English language requirements: IELTS: 6.5 (min 6 in all areas); Pearson: 58 (51 in all sub-scores); BrunELT: 65 per cent (min 60 per cent in all areas).

Course modules

Modules include: marketing communications; international business ethics and corporate governance; public policy and the challenges of cultural diversity; parties and voters in the UK; public policy analysis. Optional modules include: dissertation and internship OR dissertation and portfolio.

Assessment methods

2 modes of assessment operate on this programme. Some modules are assessed by coursework and an advance notice examination, each counting for 50 per cent of the marks. Other modules are assessed 100 per cent by coursework.
