Digital Service Design
A UK 1st or 2nd Class (2.1) Honours degree or equivalent internationally recognised qualification usually from an arts, design, social sciences, computer science or humanities background. Applicants with other qualifications with industrial experience (that is relevant to the subject area) may be considered and will assessed on an individual basis. Industrial certifications may be taken into account (such as those provided by organisations such as Microsoft and Sun for example). Such applicants may be required to attend an interview. English language requirements: IELTS: 6.5 (min 6 in all areas); TOEFL Paper test: 580 (TWE 4.5) PBT; TOEFL Internet test: 92 IBT (reading 20, listening 20, speaking 20, writing 20); Pearson: 58 (51 in all sub-scores); BrunELT: 65 per cent (min 60 per cent in all areas). Brunel also offers our own BrunELT English Test and accept a range of other language courses. We also have a range of pre-sessional English language courses, for students who do not meet these requirements, or who wish to improve their English.
Modules include: digital design methodologies; digital innovation; systems project management; digital service applications; research methods; data visualisation; dissertation.
Students will be assessed through a combination of coursework, examination and dissertation. Students will also produce a portfolio of evidence for the digital design methodologies module.
