Social Work (Post-Qualifying Framework)
The aim of this programme is to develop confident well rounded practitioners working in inter-professional and inter-agency contexts, demonstrating competence in a range of key areas including direct work with service users, families and carers, self management and use of supervision, mentoring and practice education. As practitioners you will also develop a range of in-depth knowledge and skills associated with competence a particular area of specialist social work practice.
Applicants must be a qualified and registered social worker who has completed their probationary requirements. Applications are made through the candidates organisation usually the training manager. You will be sponsored by your organisation. English language requirements: IELTS: 7 (min 6.5 writing, 6.5 listening, 6.5 reading, 6.5 speaking); TOEFL Paper test: 600 (TWE 5) PBT; TOEFL Internet test: 100 IBT (reading 20, listening 20, speaking 20, writing 20); Pearson: 64 (58 in all sub-scores); BrunELT: 70% (65% in all areas). Brunel also offers our own BrunELT English Test and accept a range of other language courses.
