Health Rehabilitation and Exercise
Applicants to this programme are expected to hold a good undergraduate degree, at 2.1 honours level or above, in sports and exercise science or any subject related to sports studies, health or fitness. Applicants with non-standard qualifications, or with no formal qualifications but with suitable work experience are encouraged to apply. Applicants should also have at least 1 year of recent experience in the field of health and fitness. Experience in certain areas and/or professional qualifications, such as Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Training, would be an advantage.
Modules include: fitness and physical exercise science; contemporary study of non acute health conditions; sociocultural aspects of the body, health and exercise; clinical exercise physiology; research methods and dissertation.
