Art and Design Practice (Jewellery and Silversmithing)
Students have an opportunity for interdisciplinary study under the art or design routes, whilst confirming their research focus and final trajectory. As part of this programme students explore practical and theoretical issues and concepts ranging from a traditional approach to silversmithing and jewellery design to product orientated design projects: from the one-off to multiple production; from hands-on to digital technologies. Students work in an environment with access to a range of creative and material disciplines, expertise and workshops; the programme concludes with a public exhibition of work.
